Soft Launch of STEAM Academy — Empowering Educators for the Future of Learning

In an exciting step forward, STEAM Interactive has officially launched STEAM Academy, an innovative program designed to equip educators with the skills and confidence to integrate technology and STEAM principles into everyday teaching.
Through workshops and practical sessions, educators are now embracing tools like coding, robotics, AI, and STEM project-based learning — breaking away from traditional models and embracing competency-based education (CBE). The response? Educators are feeling empowered, inspired, and ready to take learning to the next level!

Empowering Young Minds — Inside Our December 2024 STEM Bootcamp with CEMASTEA

Over 107 students from across Kenya gathered for a transformative STEM Bootcamp in December 2024, a joint initiative by STEAM Interactive and CEMASTEA. This hands-on experience exposed learners to robotics, coding, engineering, AI, and creative problem-solving — equipping them with essential skills for the future.
Beyond the tech skills, students also built confidence, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities, proving that STEM education is not just about technology, but about nurturing future innovators and leaders.

Robotics for Good Youth Challenge Kenya Finals — Unleashing Innovation for Disaster Management

The inaugural Robotics for Good Youth Challenge Kenya Finals was a massive success, bringing together over 130 brilliant young minds from across the country to showcase innovative projects focused on Disaster Management. Teams presented creative tech-driven solutions to real-world challenges, from flood detection systems to emergency rescue robots.
Supported by Kenya Red Cross, E4Impact Foundation, and CEMASTEA, this event proved that when youth are empowered with STEAM, there are no limits to what they can achieve.
And now, the winning teams are preparing to represent Kenya at the prestigious AI for Good Summit in Geneva, Switzerland in July 2025!
