Our Story
STEAM Interactive Global was founded with a simple but powerful belief: every learner should have the opportunity to explore, create and innovate with technology.
What began as an effort to make practical STEAM learning more accessible has grown into a broader ecosystem connecting learners, educators, schools, communities, technology and strategic partners.
Today, SIG delivers hands-on learning experiences across coding, robotics, artificial intelligence, digital skills and innovation. We develop and localize learning resources, train educators, support schools, organize innovation challenges and competitions, and take technology learning directly into communities through outreach programs and coding camps.
Our work increasingly focuses on creating sustainable pathways for learning—ensuring that the skills, tools and mentorship introduced through a training session, competition or community program can continue to create opportunities long after the initial engagement.
From community coding camps in underserved areas to national robotics competitions and international opportunities, SIG is building an ecosystem that enables young people to move from learning → creating → innovating → solving real-world problems.

STEAM Academy
The STEAM Academy is our flagship learning platform designed to equip learners and educators with practical, 21st-century skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Through hands-on, project-based courses in areas like coding, robotics, mobile app development, and digital literacy, the Academy empowers participants to become problem solvers, creators, and innovators in a fast-evolving world.

STEAM Store
Our STEAM Store brings learning to life with affordable, high-quality STEM and robotics kits, learning tools, and electronics for educators, schools, and individual learners. We empower learning through access to tools that inspire creativity and innovation.
The STEAM Store is your one-stop shop for innovative educational kits, electronics, and hands-on learning tools tailored for STEAM education. From screen-free coding kits to Arduino boards, sensors, and robotics components, our store supports learners, teachers, and institutions with affordable and reliable resources that bring STEAM concepts to life.
Capacity building Programs
We offer tailored capacity building programs aimed at empowering educators, institutions, and community organizations with the knowledge and tools to effectively integrate STEAM education. Through workshops, mentorship, and continuous professional development, we ensure that facilitators are confident, competent, and capable of inspiring the next generation of tech-savvy learners.
We run tailored workshops, school-based training sessions, mentorship programs, and bootcamps that cover topics such as creative coding with Scratch, robotics with Arduino and LEGO, mobile app development, AI & IoT for beginners, and digital literacy.
Our approach is rooted in inclusivity, innovation, and impact. We believe that quality education should be hands-on, accessible, and relevant to real-world challenges.

Actively building Partnerships for the goals
CEMASTEA
Together with CEMASTEA, we have been hosting STEM bootcamps over holidays targeting students from across the country. We have so far held 6 bootcamps which have impacted over 600 students
International Telecommunication Union
The International Telecommunication Union is a United Nations agency specialized for information and communication technologies. The ITU runs the AI for Good, a global inclusive initiative on Artificial Intelligence (AI) under which we co-host the Robotics for Good Youth Challenge
AI for Good
AI for Good is a United Nations platform led by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) that brings together global changemakers to harness the power of artificial intelligence for social impact. As part of our partnership, we collaborate on initiatives that use AI to inspire innovation among young people—especially through platforms like the Robotics for Good Youth Challenge. This partnership aligns with our mission to equip learners with future-ready skills while solving real-world problems using technology for good.
Nairobi City County
In partnership with the County departments, we facilitated the Coding and Robotics track at the Nairobi Innovation week - Kids and Teens program in 2023, 2024. We also partnered with the Nairobi Children's office and Children Fortress Africa to facilitate a coding week during the April holiday in 2025
Uzuzi Hub
Uzuzi is a hub dedicated to nurturing the creativity, growth-mindset and problem-solving skills of young learners to become the architects of their own success within the exciting realm of the orange economy. In partnership with Uzuzi hub, we host coding and robotics camps to empower young learners.
Riley Orton Foundation
