Empowering 200 Educators Through the AI Skills Coalition Initiative
Introduction
STEAM Interactive Global, in partnership with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and Google, successfully trained over 200 educators through the AI Skills Coalition initiative.
The program aimed to strengthen educators’ understanding of artificial intelligence, robotics, coding, and digital innovation while preparing them to guide learners in an increasingly technology-driven world.
Building Educator Capacity
Teachers participated in intensive hands-on sessions covering:
- Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
- Robotics and Automation
- Coding Fundamentals
- Digital Innovation
- Ethical Use of AI
- Practical Classroom Integration
The training emphasized experiential learning and practical application of emerging technologies in educational settings.
Supporting Sustainable Learning
To ensure lasting impact, participating educators representing over 160 schools received robotics kits to support the establishment and strengthening of AI and robotics clubs within their institutions.
These resources will enable thousands of learners to gain practical experience in coding, robotics, and innovation.
Creating a National Network
The initiative has created a growing network of educators who are now championing technology and innovation within their schools and communities.
Conclusion
Through strategic partnerships and educator empowerment, the AI Skills Coalition initiative is helping shape a future where every learner has access to relevant digital and technological skills.
